Too close to the crank?

Post by FAST FRED » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:10 pm

How about the fact that the removal of the screen and one of the gaskets would place the pump a little closer to the crank and could cause the pump to bind at the gear. Just my two cents.

That really didn't come out of a running engine did it?: Looks like some of the off-road three-wheelers I have seen after being run under Oregon mud!

Pic is from the SOHC4 forum...supposedly from a running engine, but who knows.

I have seen similar stuff, but it was on Bourbon Street....literally "on" the street.

Certainly is nice to end this thread on a happier note (whew!).

Hi Jack,

Welcome to the forum, I see you met already a few people here.
Why are you so sure that God created tonsils for nothing ?

Tonsils do have a function, they filter out viruses.
Can you without them ? Yes, but are there consequences when taken out ? Yes.

Leave the filter screen out, and you 'll see why God created tonsils.

(sorry Mike)
