Post by Andy's CB » Wed Oct 06, 2010 11:10 pm

just got a battery for my new bike (posts in looking for and restoration log) its a 67 cb77 superhawk, they filled it at the store, but i forgot to ask and right before i started to charge it i stopped to think. is this 12 volt? i have a small charger i can put it on to charge slowly, but i wanted to be sure 12 volt is what i have! seems obvious, but i dont want to mess anything up, thanks!

Always good to check, do you have a multimeter? If not it's worth the small investment.

...come in multiples of 2V cells; ergo count the number of cell caps and multiply by 2.
