1971 CL175

this is a scrambler right? Pretty sure its 1970 or 71. im at work cant get the vin. just picked it up the other day. just needs tank cleaned and a left side cover. it does run, all lights work.
I have the heat shields also, right now the exhaust is just hanging i had to take off an incorrect side cover someone put on.

That's a 1971 CL175K5 according to my image library.

thanks teazer, i think your right, i only ones i saw that color scheme were 71'.

and yeah i think it might be a keeper for the wife Busaken. got it for $600.00 so I may list it for kicks when im done, if i make money ill just look for another deal :P

been cruisin on the dream in town, its a head turner.

Is that front fender right? I think it might be off a more modern bike. Can't see enough of the rear fender but shouldn't it be chrome?

well i think its a 1971 CL175K and from image look ups ive seen them with colored fenders. prob an option or for a dif year or model.

That's interesting. I did a quick search and found a break down by year and you're correct. The 1971 had painted fenders. It appears those made in 1970 (K4's) had chrome fenders and those made from 72 on had chrome fenders. Guess I've just never ran across a 1971 yet.
