removing rocker arm pins

is there anything i can use to get these pins out if i dont have that special tool? (other than a big hammer) ?

the head has to be off block studs, take a big flat bladed screwdriver and get the pins moving in the head then find a screw that fits the thread in end of pin and pull them out.

You can make your own puller by using a 6mm bolt and a socket that is slightly larger inside diameter than the pin. That will pull it out far enough to get a plier on it for further removal.

As ya look at the Small End ya can use a Long Punch or Rod and knock it out far enough to use the punch/rod to pry them out at the area where the stud passes through.

FWIW I just used a 6mm bolt, threaded it in about 1/2" then yanked it out with a pair of LeverLocks clamped on the head of the bolt.
