1965 Superhawk1965 SuperhawkI have a Superhawk numbers off the motor are CB77E-1010437. I am wanting to sell it. I was thinking of getting it running again it will need the exhaust flanges and carbs gone through. I am also thinking of just cleaning it up and doing touch up paint its not in terrible shape. I am wanting to know if I could fetch more money with me sinking some into it. I also have some brand new parts in box for it.
It has the fairings as well I dont know who makes them I was hoping you can give me a little help on them as well. It has Sankei 2051 Pipes for it THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP AND INPUT

Very cool. Unless it was a special edition or has race history, I would sell the fairings separately as I almost never see those come up on ebay and i'm sure they'd fetch a good price. Maybe some of the other better seasoned enthusiasts can give better feedback on that.
Definitely get the bike running. A running bike will sell for much more than a non running one. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about fixing the paint or other parts aside from cleaning them up and waxing them a bit to get some shine back. A person looking for a bike like that usually wants it as original as possible. Judging by the original badges, someone did a good job of caring for the bike over the years. Thanks I was going to touch up the air filter covers due to sitting and gas leaked on them some how and paint its bubbled but as far as painting everything Im with you most people like the original. The bike has been sitting in my uncles garage since 70's and has not been on the road since the 80's it has never been kept out side. He did race it at Sebring Raceway I guess thats where the fairings come into play.
Thanks for the reply.
