I don't know if the 2 seater that was here was a conversion or not, but the ad in the paper showed a bubble top with the canopy stretched in the back. Speaking of razor backs, my favorite WW2 fighter is the P-47 razor back, classic lines with the twin Wasp radial and the first of the long range fighters in Europe.
The planes were/are the real thing modified.
One was near El Paso and the other at Reno. ..............lm
