Bad horn
I have a cb77 horn that just stopped working. Is it possible to rebuild them or is it serviceable?

horn repair
Hi Eric...
I managed to repair my horn:

Yours may have a different problem, but taking it apart and figuring out how it's supposed to work would be a place to start.
The dome part just pries off, best i can recall.
good luck, Lee

Thanks, Lee. I'll try to inspect it more when I get a chance. I wasn't sure how to pry it open in the first place.

The wiring is ok since it is working with a temporary horn from a cb175. Anyway, I just got it working! Thanks for all the responses! Great forum! I'm glad I didn't sell it. I just popped it open and tapped it few times and some debrie (sp?) fell out. Then I adjusted the nut for a better tone. Cool! It was surprisingly clean inside too.
