I actually bought the switches from a couple of individuals. The ebay auctions I listed were just for photo reference.

I hear what you're saying though. I'm not planning on doing anything drastic at all this summer, I just want to ride as I've been bikeless since I started my business. When it cools down for the winter, I plan on doing a full restore before the next riding season I might rattle can a few parts in the meantime to cover up the red showing through on the frame and that horrible upside down nike swoosh. I'll start a restoration log on here when that time comes.

For now, I'm reading through all the different builds that others have done so I get an idea of what to expect and figure out what road I want to go down with mine. I want to collect the parts I need until winter so my out of pocket is a little spread out.
