Jensen, how much would it cost for a sidestand bracket? Do you have any of the steering mount bolts left?

Hi dave,

Depends on the amount, CNC programming and start-up is 250-300 euro, material 20-30 euro each, and CNC time is 20 - 30 euro each. other overall costs (tools) are 100 euro. That makes it interesting to have at least more then 20.

With 10 being made : max. price is 100,00 euro, min price is 80 euro.
With 20 being made : max. price is 80,00 euro, min. price is 57,50 euro.
With 40 being made : max. price is 70,00 euro, min. price is 48,75 euro.

Now you understand that I only start when there is serious interest, for example, I have 20 made, and five sold for the price that was agreed on forehand, in worst case I'll loose (1600 euro - (5*80)) is 1200 euro, that a complete CB72 engine rebuild to me.

Most of the time when orders are larger, material prices and CNC time cuts down too, so more then 20 will reduce costs more then above, but that's part of the negotiation with the company, and therefore difficult to predict, especially now, when the economy is low.

No, I don't have any left. John Schermer got the last one for his CYB project.
It took 3 years of selling these, I lost 300 euro on the project plus a lot of time calling people and helping to "remember" that they wanted one. I don't have to live from it, but I don't want to loose on it either.

Jensen, I understand! Les told me that Johns' family might make a museum out of his collection. Have you heard anything about this? I will buy a sidestand bracket, and will even give you a deposit, as I'd reccomend you have all interested partie do.
