Dream Exhaust

Post by mach1970 » Thu Jan 14, 2010 5:40 pm

Anyone have any idea where I can find nice original mufflers for my 1966 Dream 250? She is almost done and looking pretty good. Still have to decide how to make the engine look better, but she runs great. I just need some new original style mufflers.

Thanks in advance,

Rob Hatfield

you might sometimes find a good clean set on flea bay but if yours is dent free, you might be able to re-chrome them. ps... in your pic, what is wrong with the rear shock? looks to be bent meaning the top shock cover is cocked or is it the picture?

Whats wrong witht he muffflers you have. The one in the photo appears ok.There are repos being made.I saw them on the fellows web site in MD. I believe, but they are $900.00 for a set.I need a pair myself, but have not found an affordable set.

The mufflers look okay in this picture but they are all rotted out underneath and full of holes. The shock must just look that way in the picture because here in the living room it looks fine.

Do you know who is selling the repos in MD? Is there a website or anything?

Thanks again,

Rob
