Old biker, First restoration

Post by Motoronzo » Fri Mar 03, 2006 9:23 pm

Hello. I'm in the middle of restoring a 1968 cl77. I bought this bike in 1972 and it's been in my family ever since. It has been in storage for 8 years, but ran good until then. Right now it is completely apart and in primer. I will paint it original colors, red and silver. So far, it's been a real fun project. I've had 20 bikes over the last 40 years, but could never let this one go. I'm still looking for tires. I want to go with 3.50 front / 4.00 rear. Will a 3.50 fit on the front? Any info or advise will be appreciated. Can't wait to hear those straight pipes bark again! Ron
