Clutch lever very tightScott, I had some initial shifting difficulties on my CB77. I had to lengthen the linkage a bit to avoid interference with the footpeg, and my last bit of linkage tweaking was with the engine running and the bike on its centre stand. Prior to doing this work, I had taken the clutch apart to separate and clean the rusted-together disks, so I knew that wasn't the issue.
Glad you got the clutch adjuster sorted out. Wilf I'm actually interested in moving the foot pegs to the farthest position back, which would require a longer gearshift rod. Does anyone know where to acquire these?

clutch troublesGood thread on the clutch issue.
THANKS to LOUD MOUSE for getting Spargett out of the hole and back onto the road
clutch cableHi Scott, for what it's worth my old (original) clutch cable measures approx. 39-1/2" end to end. The outer sheath part is approx. 33-3/4". I seem to remember Retrobikes having one this long, though I got mine from another source. Glad to hear you're almost there! --Lee
Note: just edited to correct numbers a few hours after first post...realized I'd measured my old rear brake cable. I'm such a goose. --Lee '62 CB77. "It's a rider."
