Is a CL77 cylinder head interchangeable with CB77?

Thanks,

Kurt

In other words, will a CL77 head work on a CB77?

Thanks,

Kurt

Kurt,
Yes they are interchangeable. When using the CL head you would have to add the Tach Drive from a CB to left side of head for the Tach. CliffC

Thanks, CliffC -- I'm collecting the pieces to bring my CB back into shape.

Left cam is different as well. Otherwise totally interchangeable.

studs will need to be a different lenght for the cl head vrs the cb head. the heads are different heights in different areas, so the studs are cut for the particular usage. you can change the studs out as well as the head. Also remember the acorn head Nuts do not allow for long studs sticking through the head, unless you add lots of washers. And on the short studs???
two cl77, three cb77, ca77, ca72, cb160, s65 and cb750
