Cylinder head sleeve/Knock pinsSo I managed to destroy the sleeves in the head trying to remove them for a thorough cleaning. A quick call to the local Honda dealer revealed discontinued. So I came up w/ a very good alternative. I used an insert tube from a truck air brake compression fitting. Used for 5/8 nylon tubing. The size fitment was unbelievably perfect, and they are stainless steel for an added bonus. Cost 55 cents each. Left is the damadged tube, Middle is the new tube, Right is modified tube by cutting off the flange and finish sanding to length. I couldnt have asked for better results.

Goo, don't let any moisture near a stainless/alu mix! Dissimilar metals: corrodes quicker than a politician's promise can fade! Always treat such a mix with copper grease or Tef-Gel before assembly: http://www.tefgel.com/contain.php?param=tefgel_infor
Thanks Guys, Steve I had seen the corrosion after I removed the old ones. I applied a thin layer of sealant to the sleeve when I installed em. I suppose that will have to be good enough since its allready back on the motor. For any one interested the part # I used was 63NABx10. You should be able to find these at local Heavy truck parts suppliers.
