Hi folks, we've got the date booked for this years Rice-O-Rama- Sun Sept. 13th at the North Brookfield Sportsman's Club- 20 Boynton Rd, North Brookfield, Mass. 01535
This will be our third year and it gets better every time. We had over 1,000 attendees last year and this year should be bigger still.

Great show scum, I'll be back.

My '65 Dream didn't win anything (as a daily driver) but I had a blast.

I did win Best Scooter for my '68 Fuji Rabbit though, whoop!

So any thoughts of possibly expanding this meet to a second day, or maybe incorporating a ride into it? I'd love to ride up for the event, but of course selfishly wish it were like a multi-day affair.

Are there any other things that one could do in your area if they decided to build your event into part of a road trip?

Either way, congratulations on a successful day!

We're considering a two day event, not sure yet.

As far as things to do in the area, there's the Berkshires, the Green Mts., the White mts., Maine coast, Cape Cod, Boston, Newport,...There are inns, motels, hotels, campgrounds and b+bs of all kinds and budgets.
Tons of museums too, all over New England, from art museums, aircraft, auto, railroad, weaponry, historical villages, clocks, industrial, sailing, witchcraft, whaling, naval ships, plenty of interesting stuff up here. Mostly off-season rates after Labor Day too :)

Thanks for the info -- by all means, keep us posted if you do in fact make this a two-day event. I already have my room booked for Mid-Ohio next year, and your event looks like a lot of fun. It's probably an 8 hour ride from Baltimore (I think!), so hopefully I could avoid going through NYC to get there.

Sorry, where is North Brookfield?
