custom CB77 "finally" nearing completioncustom CB77 "finally" nearing completionIt isn't done quite yet, but it's getting close. Just wanted to thank everyone on the site for their help in procuring parts and for all of the posts that helped me find answers to questions I didn't know I'd have. - Stout
Quite the project you have there. What kind of air filters do you have on?
P.S. Looks like your badges are on backwards ; ) Current restoration: 1962 CB77
http://www.flickr.com/photos/1962_cb77_restore/ They are K&N (p/n 40-8455) I used the stock air filter tubes and had to cut the side panels so they would fit. They seem to work well. Jetting isn't stock though with the larger open filters and shortened Harley Street Rod mufflers. Thanks for the catch on the badges! I'll get them switched around tonight. - Ken Build PicsHere are some more pics of the build
Are those cb350 shocks?Love the black rims and hubs are they powder or paint and are those CB350 Shocks?
I also did not see a fender brace on the forks, you may want to add one, (just my two cents) Thanks, Kirk 2-1966 CB77 Projects
1965 CB77 Partsbike 1967 scrambler pile of parts 1972 Cb350 thanks for the compliments!
The rims and hubs are powder coated. I wanted them to be a little tougher than just paint, most everything else is paint though. The tank is actually painted with Duplicolor spray cans. It looks pretty nice (doesn't show up in the pictures very well though). Unfortunately the spray bomb paint isn't very resistant to gasoline so you have to be extremely careful when putting gas in. Honestly i'm not sure what those shocks are from. My dad has had them lying around the shop for years, they are 12.5" long and I thought CB350 shocks were longer than that (but I could be wrong). I still plan on tearing them apart cleaning and painting em. i've thought about making a fork brace for it but just hasn't happened yet. Thanks again, Stout Here it is with the completed seatJust got the seat finished up yesterday. the old shocks are back on there again until the paint on the other one's is dry.
