Need helmet hook ideas for a Dream CA77

I was just wondering if anyone here has fabricated something or found a decent secured way to hang a helmet on their CA77 or similar bike for those times when it becomes really inconvenient to lug it around for a walk around town etc. Perhaps there is one there that I've missed...

I carry a dog choker chain. You can put a lock through the ring ends and secure it to about anything you can wrap the chain around. It also works well for locking 2 helmets. It's small enough to store in the tool compartment.
