Air boot repair

My air boots have some minor cracks near the filters.

How much with this effect my mixture and has anyone come up with a good repair technique?

They will be OK because there is a steel liner in those tubes. .............lm

Is there a certain point at which they will HAVE to be replaced?

When ya can see through the piece and then some folks use black vinyl tape. .............lm

hey guys, I too had put a crack in my hose when reinstalling it. My buddy who is a very OCD mechanic, told me to use Krazy Glue. Worked a charm.
