the C92 had an ambitious starting price (although I do like this particular model). Looks like a good restoration.

the guy who owns the cd90 refused to post better pictures or let me come around and look at it, so I suspect it is in terrible condition. I was going to slot a new 110cc Zongshen racing motor into this frame if the engine was RS. Would make an interesting little cafe racer. Resore if the engine was good of course...

I've had some dealings with the owner of the C92 - he's a bit of a wanker, with his head up his backside, but the bike is good.

That little CD looked, pretty rough, even in the pics..... You can do much better for a similar price if you bide your time. I bought another C77 a few weeks ago for $300, complete & with nothing missing (in fact, with some rare factory indicators), motor turns over, etc. Don't be in a rush.

Thanks for the heads up on the c92.
I keep an open eye for most things Honda now, but pickings are pretty slim in Perth.

There is a C77 display in my local Honda shop, but that is all I have ever seen.
Apparently there is a c77 sitting behind the hotel in Bruce Rock (4 hours from Perth)
That may be my next bike.

$300 is a bargain.

for me it is still "someone else's problem" as it is located on the other side of the country.

There is also a lot of parts missing. Parts I would have trouble sourcing for a reasonable price.

The reality is, you won't get exhausts, even at "any price" unless you are either very lucky, and have deep pockets.

My C76 is complete down to the smalletst part (except the air pump), and cost the same as I've seen dry-sump exhausts selling for........

This bike would be an OK start, or great for parts. At the new price, I am considering it.

That is the problem with some of these bikes, the bits that wear out, like the exhaust, end up being the hardest to find because, well they all wore out and the spares got used.

You can always knock up something that looks period with a pipebender, sheet metal and a good chromer. You would be the only person who would know.

for me it is an extra $300 to get it shipped over here (for a non-running bike)

I am not interested in buying the bike. I just like to look.
