UK models, '62 on, had black TL/number plate brackets. It's a different design to yours in the US owing to the larger rear licence plate that we had (have) to display and, consequently, has a 3-bolt fixing.
The '61 had a little tail light and a US-style plate support but it was found that vibration caused the plate to crack around the characters in the pressed aluminium on the number plate, so the plate/TL bracket got redesigned to suit. The step-thru Hondas 50, 70 & 90 suffered in much the same manner but nothing was ever done about those plate carriers.
Note the black horn, SLS front brake, early camchain tensioner (bolt on the left side) and crankcase breather on the upper back of the motor, all unique to the '61 model.
The blue '61 is pretty pukka but I'd say that the black cables on the '65 belong on the '61! The shocks are wrong on the black one also.
I've blacked the numbers out of respect for the owners. I don't think they'd mind but it's not my place to show them.

It is an orginal paint bike that was kept inside for years and years. It may have been changed as they did change the bars to the scrambler bars, but it would seem odd to me to change only a taillight housing. However stranger things have been done. After your comment I started looking at old photos and most if not all do show silver. Anyway, it would look better in silver.

Thank you. Won a trophy this race (third BTV) and didn't ride this race again. Long distance for sure. ..................lm
