Turn Signals

Post by Rick » Sat Sep 03, 2005 6:04 pm

Hi:

I’m new to this forum but not to my Dream. I bought the bike in 1981 with only 400 miles on it. I now have it apart for restoration. The bike did not have turn signals. I assume these were a dealer add-on. Could anybody tell me what turn signals might have been used and where, if anywhere, one might find them?

Rick

I'm in the same boat. I just recently got a 1967 305 dream. The rear turn signals look like factory install, coming out of the chrome trim piece that is under the seat on the frame, but the forward signals are mounted on the handlebars and look pretty hokey - like cheap add ons. Does anyone know if these turn signals are stock? I had planned to take them off if not.

Rear turn signals from factory should be where little cover that says "Honda "on it which is on side of rear fender below seat.Front do mount on bars and should be rectangular

Check it out! I just got off www.apexcycle.com and they have the set under the Dreams section. Sixty somethig bucks, a little pricy but stock looking.
