Lots of discussion but no frame number offered. ???????????. .........lm

The harness was labelled 1966, although the bike is registered as a 68. I understand that is fairly normal. Mine has the lip on the seat, and I believe the bigger taillight. Here's a pic of it so far, not quite done yet, but hopefully in a week or 2.

Didn't want to get too personal, Ed! A bit like asking a lady her age..... Ruins your chances of getting a blo...... sorry, I'm off again!

But you're right, so OK, here goes: what's the frame number? Bill's documented, from Honda records, that the 670A seat was fitted to all (North American) models from CB77-1034092.

Have you entered your bike's data in the honda305.com Survey database? Keeps the history from fading away. http://www.honda305.com/superhawk/ and click 'Survey' in the left pane.

Lovely looking job so far, btw!

PS: mine has a CP harness, with the orange, light blue & grey wires within, for some strange reason. UK model, but it appears to have been built up from several parts bikes.

When HONDA reproduced the CB/CL72/77 harness the blinker wires were included.
Does your harness have a year tag Steve?. ............lm

I've had the tank off several times and, although I've not really looked for the tag, I haven't actually noticed one, either.

The harness is in remarkably good order, so I guess it's possibly a Honda repro, as you describe.

checked the wiring again...no wires for winkers, just a rats-nest of taped up wires!
