Just got the chrome headlight bucket back, and is now installed. I also replaced the anemic horn that was on there with an 'Altette' repro horn from Domi Racer.

So I think this is (hopefully) the finished product. Thanks for hanging in there!

Another view of the headlight shell. I know, I know, I need to replace the rubber around the speedo, but I can take care of that later.

nonsense, just take the speedo assembly out and stretch a strip of electrical tape around it. it'll look like new :p

Back to reality though, nice work. I hope it's not done just yet. figure you could squeeze another 5 pages of updates into this thread.

Electrical tape eh? Hmm, never considered that, but now that you mention it......

Only problem is now that I have that nice new chrome, it makes some of the other chrome look not so nice. Ah well, next winter project I suppose.

One more look. Wasn't so sure about the Altette horn, but I think it works (plus it's loud!).

And the speedo gasket is on its way.
