Tires for a 64 CA77 Dream.

Does any one know if the 1964 CA 77 dream came from the factory with the narrow band White wall Nitto Tires?

I HAVE A 68 CA77 WITH 10,000 MI. THE TIRES ON IT NOW ARE NOT WHITE WALLS. BUT AT 5,000MI WHEN I HAD THEM REMOVED,I HAD ORIGINAL WHITEWALLS MADE BY NITTO TIRE CO,LTD. 3.25-16. I STILL HAVE THEM SITTING IN THE SHED. SO I WOULD THINK THEY ARE THE ORIGINALLS.<br /> DO YOU KNOW WHERE YO GET SOME OTHER BRAND WHITE WALLS?

Coker Tires you can look them up on the net. they have a hot line 1-800-251-6336. Also I here J.C. Whitney has them. I don't know who has the better price. Do the old tires have the narrow band whitewall (I think about .5 in. wide?). Are they in good shape? If yes would you be interested in selling them.<br />Thanks for the response.

J.C. only has just black tires from what i've seen. I didn't have much luck with cooker either, but they had more expensive prices so i didn't spend as much time looking there.

I dont know anywhere else. I have a wide band white wall on the front of my 64 that I will be selling when I find a narrow band White wall. Its in really good shape. It was made by Goodyear.

My front tire has the 1/2 inch white band also the rear. The front has littel tread . The rear is almost bald. THEY are both 3.25-16. Nitto. I am keeping them for reference to original. Strange that the front is 3.25-16 and not 3.00-16. What littel tread there is, the paterns of tread are straight for the front and has a different tread design for the rear.
