petcock screws

I need two screws to hold the petcock to the tank(I have one) any ideas where I could find them?
Are there any good substitutes at home depot?? Thanks.....................

What bike?CA77?I got some( 5mm )at Honda Dealer.There is another thread on this where I posted a photo of the tap I used to clean the threads al;so.

Yea, CA77, did you just use a regular 5mm tap? I got the 5mm screws at home depot but they didn't have a tap.

make sure to match them up against your other screw to make sure they are the correct pitch.
any hardware store (ace, true value, etc) should have single taps. both old and new pitch are commonly stocked taps. if there's nothing close try www.use-enco.com.

If it's not too late, try Joseph Tubb at icemanjat@hotmail.com. I have bought JIS screws from him a couple of times; he's the one on EBay often auctioning various JIS screws.
