Correct Seat fore a '67 CB77?

Post by CBX-tras » Sun Apr 13, 2008 6:54 am

My first posting here as a new owner of a '67 CB77 and I'm hoping to get an answer to a seat question.

The seat that came on my bike, rises up at the tank like a "Black Bomber 450" did. Additionally, it has a stainless trim peice along the bottom on the sides. I only recall Superhawk seats being flat.

I've seen a number of seats for sale on eBay but, none have the rise in the front.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks,
J.R.

Welcome to the forum J.R. ! Sounds like you have the correct seat for your year bike. We'd all love to see some pics of her.

Thanks for the fast responses and the excellent info.

So, is that entire seat reproduced or just the covers?

I'll try to roll her outside in the next few days and snap some photos.

You can get a complete repro seat, or just a cover. Most on this site have been pleased with the covers on ebay from Canda. The complete seats aren't very good quality from what I've been told.
