Cable Routing

Post by wordman5 » Tue Mar 04, 2008 11:53 pm

I apologize if this question is in a thread elsewhere -- I've looked and don't remember seeing the topic covered.
Would it be possible for someone to either describe correct cable routing, or photograph their machine with correctly routed cables without the tank?
My machine is a 1966 CB77 that I've equipped with the low bars.
Thanks!

I just happened to have the tank off of my CB77 Cafe' bike. Clutch cable goes above the tank rubber when tank is installed. I hope these pics help.

The throttle cable goes to the right of the steering stem and under the frame beam and over the coils. ...............lm

Thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure it's 'correct'. I was on the right track! I'm making some progress on this resto and there really isn't that much left to be done -- wire harness, pipes and mufflers, putting the headlight back in place.
The only challenge is being a paraplegic and working from a wheelchair -- sometimes it's the easy things that can be a stumbling block!
This is my first resto after my bike accident of Oct. 2, 2004.
