Is this item THAT RARE?

Also is the grain correct? Looks too smooth to me.


The NOS Late Model CL77 (p/n 77100-273-000A ) seat that I"ve got in stock does have the correct grain. I'll make someone a real race horse deal on it right now at half what the buy it now is for the Early one on Ebay. Might even take less. No, I will take less. Make me an offer.

If theres no takers I'll list on Ebay next week at $300 with no reserve.

Is probably a joke or maybe there is somethin going on behind the scenes. Maybe he promised the wife that he would put that old seat on ebay if she promised him to quit nagging him about getting rid of it? Maybe he was able to also negotiate that if it didn't sell he could keep it?

if you look at his other items the seat is priced accordingly. $700 set of sidecovers, $275 handlebars, $600 rim set. he says he has $1,000,000 worth of NOS. he should have his own currency exchange rate!
