Rusted tranny

Post by oldducs » Thu May 18, 2006 11:44 pm

:?: I have a 1961 250 Dream. This is the motor with the weird round vent on the top of the cases. The problem is that the engine bottom end is a rusted mess inside.

Question: Will later 250 /350 parts fit in the 1961 cases? the bike has matching frame and motor numbers so I want to keep it all the same.

No problem with the swap. You may find that engine doesn't have a primary chain tensioner and you should swap bottoms to add one. .......lm
