Old c72 needs help

Post by oldducs » Sun Apr 09, 2006 11:41 pm

I have purchased a very old c72. It has the cases with the cylinder shaped oil vent system.

I am looking for a "Frog Eye" style early tank and also an early 250 cly head. This is the tank where the area on the tank chrome side covers where the emblem goes sticks out. :)

If you can help please email or call.

I just recently tore down a CA72 for parts and had pistons and cylinders on ebay which no one bought.I do have the head also, but I took the parts out of it since it has the same valves and cams as my 305.I believe it was the old style because it has the 4 rings on the pistons. The VIN# is 100xxx. Let me know if you are interested in any of the parts.I listed the pistons and cylinders twice on Ebay but had little interest!I did not list head.I will probaly trash them if someone does not buy them.Joe

Oldducs -I have a very old CA72 with the tank you describe - not for sale, though. Interesting to hear of another one - they seem to be fairly uncommon.

Joe, I'm wondering if it would be that expensive to ship to me? I'd have the parts you describe if dics doesn't want them - please don't throw them out. I'd be happy for them to be cheaply shipped via surface mail....

Rob.
