Really stupid newbie question.....

I recently aquired a 69 ca77. The previous owner started to replace some of the hoses coming out of the engine. He did not reconnect them during transport. I have very little engine knowledge, and have not yet received Bill Silvers cdrom. Where do the two hoses go?

Are you talking about the two breather hoses coming off back side of the top end?If so they route back to the air filter.Should be two holes in it.Thats how the ones I have had were.

I believe they are breather hoses, but what he did is use two different types of hoses, one clear and one black so it is throwing me off. If anyone could post any pictures I would be eternally grateful. Also, would these hoses keep the bike from turning over?

I bought some clear hose at the hardware store and put it on.Not rocket science.Just connect them to the nipples and if you have a stock air filter run them back and stick them in the two holes. If no stock filter I'm not sure what others do with them?Probably just lay they down near back of engine were they won't be blocked.Maybe someone else has other ideas? These being disconnected will not cause it to "not " run.Only issue would be possible if the breathers were clogged and I'm not sure what would happen then.Never had one clogged.

Ok, taken care of those. Now what about the one coming from on top of the engine?
