Check for air leaks around the intake manifold by spraying carb cleaner on them while running. The rpms will change if there is an air leak. Sometimes this happens when the carb mounting screws are over tightened, causing the flange to warp. Also, of course check the basics. Slides are synchronized. Throttle adjustment screws are even. Mixture screws are evenly adjusted, if not it could be indicative of carb body passages not being completely clear of deposits.
