I know this may sound weird, but I took the 5x0.8 screws I got at a shop and shoved em through a 5x0.9 Die. I wouldn't trust em at 20+ lbs of torque, but I've had no problems with em holding the stator cover on and we all know how much vibration we get out of this little engine.

Re. starter cover:

Not caring about being "correct" and wanting matching stainless allen-heads, I found my 6mm tap very useful. Just had to drill out the starter cover holes a bit. Plenty of meat.

Haven't got to the timing cover yet, but plans are the same.
