CA77 Sticking throttle body

Post by hondadreamca77 » Sat Apr 28, 2018 11:32 am

Hey Guys,

Searched the forum and decided to post. Throttle body is sticking causing high revs at idle.

New throttle cable/adjusted, carb removed and jets cleaned, etc.

Tips??

Is the throttle slide turned 180 deg. out? This will cause a really high idle.

Cable

New aftermarket cable is too long after adjustment. Double checked all else.

Fixed it!

Fixed the problem by carefully milling 1/16" off end of throttle slider at handlebar. Enough to lower the idle rpm to manageable adjusting .
