RH Crankcase clutch adjuster grease/clutch rod seal '66 CB77
Thank you, both. But I'm confused... So, my clutch rod seal is fine. The grease in crankcase was from the grease on the cover side?
Do you know what type of grease to use when I put them back together? Where do I apply? Also, thanks for letting me know about the lines on gears! I just ordered kick starter gear yesterday. I should be putting them all back next weekend.
This area is typically dirty because of lubricant and dirt expelled from the chain as well as excess grease etc.
The two shafts need some grease. I don't know why only one of them has a fitting. Also, there should be some inside the clutch adjuster to lubricate the ball bearing and clutch rod. Et c'est tout! Hi Ed,
Do you guide this "Y"-breather tube above or below the toolbox on a CL77? And then inbetween the air filter and frame or... ?
Pre 1967 have this tube.
It installs <<<a single to go to the front of the right side air cleaner>>> where there is a tube on the front. .....................lm
