Honda factory clear coat on engine question

I polished a lil to hard and the clear coat came off one side of the front fork. can it be purchase in a spray can?any info. would really help THXs

Dupli-color makes a clear coat. Should work for you. But this is for your front fork, not and engine, right?

May I ask what bike you have and what actual part of the fork had CLEAR COAT? ......................lm

I thought he had a '74 360G.

Mike, to my knowledge, and I could very well be wrong, the engine was not clear coated. I would think it would be a horrific mess if it was and the coating started to break down over time.
