Dream Saddlebags

Post by quidger » Mon Sep 17, 2012 7:21 pm

Does anyone know of a resource that makes after market saddlebags for a Dream. I am looking for something that would replicate original period saddlebags, retro-like, if you will.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Repop Bucos

Post by Cheburashka » Mon Sep 17, 2012 9:39 pm

Someone's making new reproductions of the Buco Twinmasters. The hardware looks nice. Mounts aren't like the original, oddly enough. They look to be patterned after Wixom bag mounts. Still, these are pretty much the classic CA77 bags.

Here's a link to a brand new set on Ebay.

These looked nice too, but they're used:

I have a set of original Buco bags with mounting hardware for a Dream for sale. They need paint and to have the lights re-installed in them. I had intended to resore them for my Dream but now I decided against having bags on it. I also have two other of the same bags without lids. All is for sale for way less than those on Ebay. If you'd like pix, let me know.
