Mine are reading 90psi on both cylinders after warm up. seems low to me?. but it runs great.

90 is usually the minimum given for most engines to be able to run.

Did you remember to open the choke and throttle when you did the test?

My CA77 reads 149 hot.

If yours runs great, then chances are there is an error in measurement of the compression.
ie....seal in the plug hole, leak in the tester itself, not holding the throttle wide open during the test, dirty air cleaner etc.

Ok I did not open up the throttle when i tested it, will retest. Thanks.

OK Re tested with throttle wide open & getting 130psi now. that makes me feel better..is that suitible for a original engine that has not been rebuilt?
