Thanks for the location.
YOU MUST SET THE CAM SPROCKET WITH THE MARKS AT 90 DEGREES TO THE HEAD AND THE ROTOR AT "T". Period.
Then follow the timing with what ya will find in the Yellow section at FAQ and How I time my engine description. ..................lm

michael-nadav wrote:Ignition timing does seems to be the isue , as the detonations noise of the engine starts at around 4000 that is when ignition starts to get advenced .

Checking the igniton with the masor gun its only sets on "F" when its on the latest position , but then the engine got no power at all till 3000rpm , and the detonation keeps coming at 4000 getting lauder as the rpm get higher till 6000 which is the max it can get ...

Thanks ..

Michael.

When you read this, look left about 3-4 inches. The left margin of your computer screen. Links that LM is referencing.

Go here, Michael; click 'FAQ' -- Frequently-Asked Questions -- and follow 'How do I tune.....' perfectly. it's the 6th question (Q) from the top.

Good luck!!

sorry for the long disapearing ... checking the tuning seems to be fine with my bike
however i 've notice that the ignition is getting advanced much earlier then 3800 ,
and not like you wrote that it should start getting advanced at 3800 , so maybe the springs for the
advanced unit are too wick and need to be changed ???

btw. advaned ign shoulod start at 3800 , and when is it getting to be max advanced ??

also , do you think that honda changed parts in the engine of the cb77 from 1962 till 1968 meaning that its not the same valves length?? or some changing with the pistons ???
as maybe i used wrong parts from newer moddle that dont perfectly fit ??

Does sound like timing or fueling to me.

My First Post! =-)

<3 Hey there in Tell-Aviv; How's the riding weather? Michael-nadav <3

Could you post a video to youtube.com of this engine issue while rolling and while sitting still? Then leave a nice link here for us to see it. Safely most cirtainly.

I'm leaning towords the Timing advance system/fuel. If it ran fine before, did you bore it .025" over? Wouldn't that make it breathe better and require bigger jets? I'm really leaning towords the Timing though. BUT Post a nice video so we can see and hear. Is there smoke from exaust? Funny smells from exaust? To lean can cause detonation as well right? Lean burns hotter thus overheating the chamber causing detonation right guys?

Thanks! Have a Nice DAY! =-)
