are you referring to the o-ring (#26 in the diagram) or the bushing inside the cable itself?

The seal at the tach cable end was/is part of the cable and not available as a separate part. ......lm

I'm looking for the seal in the cable itself. Does anyone have a spare or can someone measure their part so I can try to find a close alternative?

I found a neoprene washer at the hardware store that was just a little bigger diameter. No more leaks!

aftermarket. I dont remember seeing any seal before. it was either missing or it popped off during disassembly. then it grew legs and ran off! now it seems I have another slight leak at the left exhaust port. it might be a leaking valve seal. the plugs are dry.
