how to tell the correct model?

how can u tell the correct model/year of these older bikes? I just took possession of a honda dream 305 that says ca77 on the engine and ca78 on the frame. any help wuld be appreciated. curt

list the vin #. I believe 65's started with the seven digit vin#.

My Dream has:
Engine Number CA72E-110043
Frame Number CA72-10042.

Ed Moore reckons it's a '61 & I agree....... any comments? If so, with a frame number of 10042 it would possibly bee one of the first off the line?? yes??

So, I'm guessing if I have number 42........ It may be one of, if not THE oldest CA72 still in existance?
