Thank You very much. My basket case restore only had the inner gasket on it. I did not realize their was an inner and outer until your reply.

I know this is an old post, but where do the o-rings go? Is there a lip for the inner and outer? I'm asking cause my gasket set didn't come with any and my engine leaks oil from the oil filter cover.

There's a lip for the inner, and tthe outer goes against the cover.

So I found a set of 79 and 75mm orings. They were way too large. Is there a difference in side covers? Early and late? My bike is a '64
