Honda CL175 KO

This is the CB/CL160 killer. It's amazing what an extra 7.5cc's per per side & a 5-speed box does for performance. I've ridden both the Honda 160 & 175cc slopers, and the 20hp 175KO blows away the lesser 160. The bike pictured is my '69 model in Candy Orange with 7200 miles on the clock. Other than the upper end being refreshed (courtesy of MrHonda Bill S once again), she's 100% bone stock & all original. I've been accumulating parts for a CR93 clone for years & had planned to use the CB160 frame & motor as the basis. Having experienced both 160 & 175KO, I've switched gears accordingly & acquired a good running motor from the latter to use in my pet project. BTW, the 175KO pictured is going down the road to fund the CR93 & another project, providing a little more room in my cramped garage as well.

Very, very nice! I recall CL175's fondly from my younger years - looking exactly as yours does! I got to ride around on the back of one a bit. It had no issues at all carrying around two teenagers, as I remember.

This is circa 1968 or 1969. The bike belonged to a boyfriend - that's (skinny) him in the background. This was copied from a Polaroid original.
