If someone of this forum knows where to get such a bike for an realistic price,
please let me know.

Here in good old Germany it is very difficult to get such a bike.
And if a bike is offered a lot of money is requested.

sorry for my bad english.

Best regards
Rudolf
Rudolf, your English is fine! Welcome along; I'm sure we'll keep a lookout for a 450K0 for you.

Regards,

Steve

$3500 is a pretty fair price I suppose. I just bought a running 66 Black Bomber for $700 (I know, Im really lucky) and ordered some parts for it from a vintage Honda restoration shop. The owner told me theyve been selling from $4000-$8000 but maybe he was helping me justify the price of those repro plastic tank badges ($300). Money well spent in my opinion, along with a new seat cover. These bikes are definately on the rise and becoming very desirable.

Looked at a CB450 tonight the guy wanted $150 , the engine seemed to turn over the tank was clean inside , the forks looked tweaked , with a bad repaint , the owner did not know much about it , thought it was a 350 until I saw the VIN and 444 cast into the cylinders , guy lives near Green Bay Wi says he will part out on Ebay next week .. currently on Craigs list in Green Bay guy also has a cb175 that is froze with rust and water in the cylinder FYI
