Almost ready to go...

Post by Freshapple » Tue Nov 10, 2009 4:14 pm

I got most of the bike's loose ends buttoned up and I am ready to start up the motor. Combustion, spark, battery, key turned on... check.
Now, I wish I knew which position the little slider on the left side should be in. Does anyone know what these positions are for? Headlight? Engine kill?

Nice job on the bike. The switch on the left handlebar is for the headlight. Take a look.

Starting Tips Needed

Post by Freshapple » Sat Nov 14, 2009 9:09 pm

Does anyone have any tips for gettings the settings right for startup? I totally dissasembled the carb and don't know where the fuel/air and idle screw settings should be.
Does anyone have some pointers for a sucessful start after an engine and carb rebuild?

Yes... a giant "THANK YOU" is in order for all the info Paul has shared. He has been a great resource in getting this old bike apart and back together. There really is no info out there on the C200 model and this forum has been a nice depot for information on this motorbike. I truly appreciate his time and insight on the C200 project.
