Honda C200Great Thread!!!!! I will next find the C100 thread as I have a few of those to do.
bblifeiz---I may have the muffler you needed. Did you ever find one? If you didn't I will dig mine out and take some pictures. I was told it was for the 90cc stepthru model. I have not seen it in a couple years but I think it is the same, but maybe the end that connects to the headpipe is a little different. I bought it (aftermarket NOS) at the big Mid Ohio swap meet a few years ago to use on my C100. I was told it would fit but the kicker would rub against it. I never did use it as I found an actual c100 muffler. If you still need one, let me know. I think I would want $70 US for the muffler plus shipping, which could easily be more than the cost of the part.
Hi Paul & all,
I've just bought c200 and currently have a problem to fire up the engine. I heard from my friend that this bike should have fully charge battery to make this work. I've planned to get battery, and i've screw up the wiring. May i know how the wiring diagram from battery looks likes? Issit the -ve to the body or ?? appreciate ur advise --zubir
All done...Paul, thanks to your inspiration I've finished my restoration!
My intent was to build a daily driver in as original condition as possible. So, only NOS or OEM parts. Every electrical connection replaced (vintageconnections.com) and she runs like a top and will do so for years to come. I didn't do any body work other than clean everything up, replacing only what absolutely had to be replaced. My big accomplishment was getting the winkers working! Re: All done...Ah it's so nice to hear that I've inspired someone. I don't get over here as much as I would like but seeing your bike done was a real treat for me and thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. Absolutely beautiful. I bet you get plenty of looks on that old gal. Thanks again for posting and ride safe. Paul 1964 CT200
