After years of swearing at my Phillips screwdrivers I have decided to invest in a set of JIS drivers.
I have found the following brands available and wonder if anyone has experience with the quality and fit of any of them.
Jensen
Vessel
Hozan
Moody

Vessel Megadora's are the way to go. Snap-on quality IMO. JIS screwdrivers are well worth the investment.
why'd I wait?

bought one of these a few months ago, very happy with it. good price with free shipping. should have done this long ago.

only problem with this one is it's magnetized, which can sometimes be a hassle. the 200 mm length refers to shaft length without handle so it's pretty long, but that makes it easier to get it plumb with the screw.
the JIS works great on regular phillips screws as well. wish I could find some just plain 1/4" JIS bits to fit electric screwdriver, etc, I'd quit using regular phillips screwdrivers altogether.
Stanley sells 'em too:

Vessel Tools in Fairlawn, NJ does have the JIS bits now. Received a set last month after a few weeks of backorder time. Regards, Chase

Might be easier to search as JDV Products. The bit kit part number is TD-73MC. Thanks, Chase

I bought a set of Hozans off of Amazon. They work fine and are O. K. quality.
