pin in drive sprocket??

I pulled a long 1/4 11in long rod out from the center of the drive sprocket. Any idea what the pN is? or what this is called?

Sounds like the clutch push rod.Do not have my parts book in front of me now.Is there something wrong with it?

Clutch pushrod indeed. ROD, CLUTCH LIFTER 22850-259-010, found here:

Ed is parts manager. They don't have a great deal of stuff, but the online fiche is useful.

no nothings wrong. I'm just tearing the engine apart for ebay. I don't really know a lot of the parts I'm selling.

Before you list it, inspect the squarely-finished end for excessive 'dishing' from the release ball and for annular grooving from where it once rotated in the lip seal; if there's a groove that you can feel with a fingernail then mention that in the eBay listing. Such a groove can prevent the seal from keeping the oil in!
