65 Restoration

My restoration project has begun, this is a 65 Dream that has been in my family for almost 40 years. I got it started about 5 years ago and have not decided to attempt a full restoration on it. I will have plenty of questions for you guys as I have virtually no experience at this. I have already bought Bill Silver's restoration guide and will be relying on ya'll for the rest.

I will add photos as soon as I figure that out

I'll be watching your posts. I just got a 61 CA77 that hasn't run since the late 60's. Everything looks repairable, engine is free, and all parts are there. My first motorcycle, but I do have a 50cc scooter. I got it Tuesday and haven't had the time to start working on it. I'll be picking your and everyone else's brains for this. Good luck with yours and keep us posted.

Nice set of Buco bags - they will clean up nicely too.

Can someone help me and tell me how to remove the front forks from this 65 Dream. The 'knob' is missing on the top.
