My new baby!

Post by clhiller » Thu Jun 20, 2013 6:32 pm

Just finished my '67 Dream. Went a little bit custom, but have all the parts to go back to stock if I want. She cruises real nice at 55mph. Get lots of comments too!

Like the fishtail mufflers!! I'd go with them if I didn't have the stock ones.

I'm always getting comments on my Dream as well, along with shared memories. That's half the fun of riding it.

Nice job!

Whoa - those Fishtail Mufflers really look nice on that bike! They're perfect, they fit the styling cues just right. It makes me wonder why Honda didn't come up with design feature originally!

What about functionality ?

A Honda design is function before anything else. A fishtail doesn't have any function at all on top of the standard pipes. Other early Japanese "dream like" machines did had some design features above functionality.
